EAST COMMON COFFEE is a direct-trade brand based in Ho Chi Minh City. We contract directly with producers across Vietnam, import their green coffee to Japan, roast it and deliver it.

We want to change the assumption that Vietnamese coffee is simply cheap. By disclosing the producer's name, the farm's altitude and the roast date, we show the real face of Vietnamese coffee that is still little known, from Fine Robusta to rare processing methods.

Living in the country and being able to visit farms ourselves is our strength. The harvest, the processing, the producers' own words: we work only with first-hand information from the field.

Since 2026 we have also carried lots from the Gayo highlands of Sumatra, Indonesia.
