About this item
Bát Tràng village near Hanoi has been making pottery for more than 600 years. We asked a small kiln there to make a cup for drinking coffee.
The glaze is thin, leaving the texture of the clay. The walls are thick enough that the cup is not too hot to hold, and the narrowed rim helps the aroma rise. The capacity suits both strong Phin coffee and a light-roast Arabica.
Each cup is shaped by hand, so size and color vary slightly from piece to piece. We do not consider that a defect. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
